Final Animation

Ok i really like your animation in general. I think your digital craft and ideas are clean, thought out and effective. Your attention to the action reaction law is evident and appreciated. I really can get a sense of gravity and realism in your animation.

Now here are some fine details i noticed:
-the opening scene where M E T fly in and bounce of the B, i think that the T is a little faster than the other two and in general i think they could all hit harder and faster. The M and the E seem to be hitting the B with little force. But i do think you handled the bounce very nicely, props. Also on this action think about the possibility off adding a lot more letters hitting the B, instead of only 3 letters. Maybe the whole word T-H-I-M-B-L-E, hitting the B hard but they all fail to penetrate.

Not too much to say about the push, i really think it is great, the action and reaction seem to be right on the money. I also like how you see it come back onto the screen later in the animation as its still pushing. Only suggestion would be when the T pans left and turns. Maybe he "HIMBLE" could hit the T so it fell on its side and then you show the T pushing the rest of the word off screen just like you have.

Grip:
I really think this is your most impressive one. The way the the T and the B attempt and fail to pick up the H is awesome. It makes sense and it shows gravity. Just a small detail, the letter H falls down farther than the baseline of where it was pulled up. I feel it would make sense to keep that baseline and let it fall back to the same spot instead of down farther on the stage. I really like the gripping of the H by showing it squeeze in. Maybe there could be a way you could incorporate the letter forms morphing when the letters interact with them much like you did to the H in grip. So when the T hits himble, the H gets a little dent every time, maybe. And maybe we see the letter b contract and expand where the letters hit as they bounce?
Overall great job and nothing really but little details, nice job in flash.

I really liked the understanding and implementation of physics that you utilize in your animation. It make the actions very realistic and believable.

The pacing seems a little slow, especially in the beginning. I feel like the letters should fly in during the "protect" sequence a little faster. Make them feel like more of a threat so that the "B" letterform in turn feels more protective. I don't think you really even have to limit yourself to the three letters. You could let loose with a bombardment of multiple letter - like machine guns firing at the poor little word inside the "B' - something to make more of an impact.

The push is my favorite portion, with the motion again holding true to real world physics. It feels like the letters are being pushed across a physical surface with friction and that the "T" has to work to push the rest of the word across the screen. Nice job.

Grip is good as well, no real suggestions for improvement that I can think of. Again maybe make the pacing a little bit faster. It seems a little slow.

I thought too that maybe you could try to make use of color somehow. I'm not really sure what to suggest though. Maybe a fabric texture in the background to anchor the image? Maybe a metallic type against a skin color? It's a possibility that you can play around with later to give the animation an extra "oomph".

Overall, excellent concept and execution of the animation. Just need to work on timing and tweak a few little things.
