Yo Sassy Cassie.

Rendering method of individual objects (appropriate? cohesive? engaging?)

The rendering of your objects are B-E-A-utiful! I think it is very appropriate to use photography, since your collection is just as much about the the light and shadows as it is about the actual glass containers. The high contrast makes them very engaging.

• Composition & typography of site's content (accessible? refined? engaging?)

The typography is nicely refined- everything is legible and clean. The only thing I have to say about the type is that some of the labeling could be a little bit more refined, like in the difference between "Sort Methods" and the pull-down type that comes off of it... they are exactly the same right now. But that's very minor- everything looks great!

Composition is good too, very open and airy. Which is the appropriate language for a collection about light and shadow!

• Information visualization strategies (clear? informative? engaging?)

Very clear and informative, but I feel that some are lacking a bit in an engaging quality. They are all pretty basic, and I think there is opportunity to make the information that much more meaningful with some aesthetic tweaks to pull the viewer in.

• Functionality (clear? user-friendly? engaging?)

Yes, yes, and yes! The scrolling on the main page is wonderful, and does a fine job of getting the user into the website, ready to explore more. The added explanations to the left of each sort method was also a good idea, because it gives the user an "in" to your information, so they know what's going on. All the functionality is very clear, the small dot next to each sort method is a good way to minimally note where the user is, so they don't get lost.

Overall, this is a very well-functioning website! :)
